Boulevard Bar & Deli

Boulevard Brasserie is a no-frills, informal restaurant/bar in a buzz location. Serving traditional and modern French cuisine, diners look relaxed while the rustic furnishings and paintings of Paris help create an authentic atmosphere.

It's just a shame that the food is, well, average. The goats cheese and onion tartlette looked good, smelt good but had a very bland taste. The pastry was far too hard as well.

My minute steak with French fries was the highlight. The meat was tender and cooked to my preference, the fries were a lesson to McD's and the salad was fresh and crisp.

The vanilla cheesecake was a little sickly but nevertheless done well. All in all a good meal, great value but easily forgotten.

The older sister of 'Modern', Tate Britain showcases the finest art from around the world. Galleries and exhibitions change every season, so you'll have an excuse to visit regularly, as well as a few permanent features.

I find this a relaxing and educational day out which is perfect for culture vultures as well as casuals.

This cheap and healthy meal is very easy to make. I tried it last week and will do regularly from now on. Give it a go!

Definitely a summer dish - perfect with a glass of red.
