"One evening, feeling the urge for Indian food and not wanting to scrounge around I decided to order in.
Imagine my surprise when I phoned The Best of India in Roman Road, when told they do not deliver(! ) I phoned one that advertised that it did i.e. Jalalabad Tandoori , on Burdett Road only to be told they started next Monday!
Good God!
Finally i phoned the Halal Balti Express on Grove Road , hoping against hope. A calm voice answered and assured me that they do deliver and proceeded to do so. The food was nice, so was the manner of delivery.
So anyone in the ROMAN Road Mile End area, note down where home delivery is possible!" Chandni Rosser 02/04
