We just had a special Birthday party at Thai Room last week. Everything went great and we all had a very good time. The staff are attentive and helpful and the foods were lovely! The funny thing was our Birthday party wasn't the only one and they surprisingly brought us ice-cream cake together with the other table. Thanks for the little present from them as well. We will definitely go there again soon.

Well it all looked good, easy to order, called us straight back, but it has now been two hours waiting for delivery of our first order from the Thai Room.First the delivery drivers motorbike brke down, then we offered to meet someone at Bethnal Green Station, but they went to Mile End Station, and now we're just sitting here thinking we should have cut our losses and cancelled at the first sight of a problem. However, once you've invested 35 minutes waiting you kinda feel that you should persevere. Hopefully it will arrive, and when it does, it will be worth the wait.We never really order takeaway, and my biggest problem with this is the feeling of being completely unimportant to them. They are now busy in the restaurant and give me the distinct impression that they can't be bothered.Shouldn't every customer be equally important? And if you say you deliver, should you not deliver?I think so.
I'm half thai and go back there almost every year without fail. Since living in London I've tried dozens of thai restaurants. Thai Room is the best, hands down. The food smells, looks and tastes authentic and hasn't been altered for the British palate which is great! I've tried their delivery service twice and on both occasions the food came on time and piping hot. It may be small and fairly hidden away but this place wins my vote!
The food at this restaurant is excellent. I travel to Thailand often on Business and the food here is prepared so close to that in Thailand.

"This tucked away restaurant amid a strange complex of gastro pubs/comedy clubs/health club and taxi firms is beautifully furnished inside what can only be described as a very large portakabin. Once the shock of walking into a beautiful and traditionally decorated environment wears off you are given the warmest of greetings and shown to immaculately set tables. The staff all wear smart traditional uniforms and are both happy with their work and take a great pride in making you feel the most special customer in the restaurant, they are very helpful with helping you choose from a very good menu. The food equalled all the other qualities of this lovel eatery and prices were fair and reasonable."
